Riley, CPA, P.C. provides closely-held businesses,  their owners, and high-wealth individuals a broad range of tax and accounting services, from accounting systems set-up, maintenance, and analysis to tax planning and return preparation. The firm's focus is a proactive approach to helping clients use financial information to make decisions to reach their business goals efficiently and effectively. Our public accounting firm was founded by Mary Riley in 1994 with five clients. Before starting her practice she worked as a tax manager for a "Big Eight" public accounting firm for seven years, as well as for two years at the second-largest local accounting firm in Atlanta. In early 2010, the firm moved from Atlanta, GA to Johnson City, TN.

As a result of more than twenty-five years of experience advising clients ranging in size from multi-national, publicly-held corporations to home-based businesses, Ms. Riley has a unique advantage in her breadth of knowledge of practical accounting and tax issues.

  • She is a regular speaker on tax and accounting topics throughout the business community.
  • She was previously a featured speaker on accounting issues at SBDC's FastTrac entrepreneurial business program
  • She taught classes in tax and software usage at the Georgia State University Small Business Development Center.
  • As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Ms. Riley works with a variety of clients to customize their financial accounting systems.
